Meet Our Staff

Head Teacher

Claire Murdoch

As Head, my priority is that every child feels part of a happy, caring school family where they are truly known and encouraged. We want our children to feel proud of who they are, confident to try new things and ready to shine in their own way. In a small school like ours, relationships matter; each child’s strengths are noticed and celebrated, and they are supported when things feel more challenging.

We believe in the value of learning outdoors, in giving children space to explore, and in making sure they leave us resilient, curious and full of joy. Most of all, our aim is to build a community where children and families feel at home, and where together we help every pupil grow, succeed and flourish.

Assistant Head

Adam Wright

As Assistant Head and SENDCo, I work closely with pupils, staff and families to ensure every child feels known, supported and able to achieve their best in an inclusive, inspiring and academically ambitious environment. I support pupils throughout their journey at Daiglen, helping them build strong foundations, grow in confidence, embrace challenge and develop as individuals. I also play a key role in supporting pupils as they prepare for senior school, ensuring each child is well supported, well prepared and ready to take their next step with confidence.
