Community Award

We are proud to announce the launch of The Daiglen Community Award, a fully funded place at The Daiglen School. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a local child and marks an important milestone for the school as we extend our reach further into the community we serve.

The Daiglen Community Award has been created as part of our long-term commitment to widening access to an excellent education. As a charitable trust and a school at the heart of Buckhurst Hill for over 100 years, Daiglen was founded on the belief that children should be supported to flourish academically and personally, whatever their background. This award embodies that original vision and our desire to share our success more widely.

About the Award

The Daiglen Community Award provides a bursary of up to 100 percent of school fees, enabling a child who would otherwise be unable to attend an independent school to join Daiglen. The award is open to children currently attending a state school in Year 2, Year 3, Year 4 or Year 5. It is intended for families for whom an independent education would not normally be financially possible, and for children who would benefit from Daiglen’s strong pastoral care, academic rigour, and preparation for senior school and 11+ entry. This criteria will be part of the application process.
